StepIt™ has gained large interest from the medical sector
– World Wide
StepIt™ has drawn a tremendous interest from the medical sector. Hospitals and other research
institutes in Sweden, Finland, United Kingdom and United States are either planning, conducting or has already done clinical studies.
The studies vary from the effect on stroke victims to improvements on difficult to heal leg wounds, from Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) to diabetes problems, from swollen legs to increase blood circulation.
What is StepIt™?
StepIt™ - The Rocking Foot Pedal - was especially developed to increase the blood circulation in the legs. It was designed to simulate walking and activate the Calf Muscle Pump (CMP) in the lower leg.
The CMP is often considered as the body’s secondary heart*. As long as the leg is active, the CPM pumps the venous blood from the foot back up towards the heart. However, as soon as the leg becomes inactive, the blood circulation is reduced significantly.
StepIt™ was developed for one very important purpose to stimulate and increase the Blood Circulation in the Legs. Many conditions, some serious, are a direct result of poor blood circulation which may include:
Swollen ankles, feet or legs
Risk of blood clots (Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT))
Difficult wound healing process
Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)
Venous and arterial insufficiency caused leg ulcers
