StepIt™ - The Rocking Foot Pedal - was especially developed to increase the blood circulation in the legs. It was designed to simulate walking and activate the Calf Muscle Pump (CMP) in the lower leg.
The CMP is often considered as the body’s secondary heart*. As long as the leg is active, the CPM pumps the venous blood from the foot back up towards the heart. However, as soon as the leg becomes inactive, the blood circulation is reduced significantly.
StepIt™ is unique in that respect that it simply imitates what Mother Nature created, an absolute natural way of stimulate and increase the blood circulation. It was developed for people that are, for one or another reason, unable to walk at any given time. It can be used at home, in the office, in an airplane, in a car or anywhere it is needed.
The pedal promotes both the heel drop- as well as the extremely vital heel rise motion.
The heel drop motion relaxes the calf muscles and blood is accumulated in the vein.
The heel rise motion contracts the muscles which squeezes the veins and propels the blood back towards the heart and lungs. This pumping action is repeated with each pedal stroke.
This simple but ingenious foot pedal was developed by a professor at the Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden. It is patented and clinically proven to increase the blood circulation and reduce leg swelling.
StepIt™ is FDA registered as a medical device (reg. #: 300 5748757).
Disclaimer: There is no guarantee that StepIt™ will prevent blood clots (Deep Vein Thrombosis, DVT) or cure any other illness or symptoms.
Large interest from the medical sector – World Wide
StepIt™ has drawn a tremendous interest from the medical sector. Hospitals and other research institutes in Sweden, Finland, United Kingdom and United States are either planning, conducting or has already done clinical studies.
The studies vary from the effect on stroke victims to improvements on difficult to heal leg wounds, from Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) to diabetes problems, from swollen legs to increase blood circulation.
What is Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)?
Deep Vein Thrombosis, commonly
referred as DVT, occurs with poor
blood circulation and a blood clot.....
