StepIt™ was originally developed to increase blood circulation in lower legs and prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) when traveling on long haul flights.
It all started a few years ago when Professor Christer Busch flew from Tokyo to Stockholm, Sweden. During this long flight, he experienced leg swelling, a very common problem known to occur when sitting inactive for many hours in a confined environment.
He decided to develop a device that would activate the calf muscle pump and increase the extremely important blood circulation in the lower legs while seated or immobilized for any extended period of time.
May resolve many leg problems
Since many leg problems simply depend upon poor blood circulation, professor Busch quickly realized the tremendous benefits this pedal could provide for a wide range of leg problems. These problems can range from simply swollen legs to severe open leg wounds, from Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) to the need for light walking exercise to prevent DVT.
Clinical Research
StepIt™ has also got massive attention from the general medical professions and the pedal has been, and is, subject for many various clinical tests. Almost all of them points out that the positive results are due to the increased circulation and oxygenation of the blood. Additional tests are being performed in Sweden, Finland, USA and United Kingdom.

What is Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)?
